Hello there internet friends! It's been a long while since I last updated you non-existing readers about my life that you don't care about, but better late than never as late people always say.
The moment that I've been anxious about has come and gone by and as I am writing this I am laying on my stomach back home.
I am almost certain that a plain white tshirt is a staple clothing to everybody. If not, well it's a staple clothing for me.
I have always love Korean Dramas ever since they started dubbing them in Philippines and this summer has been all about them for me. Here are some of the titles I am watching that are currently on air:
Yes, I am one of those people who likes to document my life. The planners and journals readily made at the stores are just not for me so I decided to make my own in the beginning of the year 2015. I am now working on my second All Crap Notebook. Yes, it is literally the black hole of my thoughts. It is a planner, a journal, a life hack cheat cheat, a budget notebook, and everything else I could possibly ever need.
I was out in the wild for a couple of days and once we got back in the civilization I found a new cafe to check out. Okay, that was very dramatic of me but seriously, I checked out a new cafe because the looks fit my aesthetic. Now, it's time to judge the taste.
This post was meant to live the night that we drove up here to NorCal but due to our hotel's sucky internet, it obviously did not happen. On the bright side, I am now 100% sure that I used almost everything in my bag and I was not carrying stuff around just to carry them.
According to some people, we are the selfie generation and we should definitely take pride being the generation who has self confidence.
I think it's about time I finally do a 'What's On My iPhone'. I have the iPhone 5C in White. It's the 16 GB one and I got it sometime in May 2014. Right now, I just have a case from Victoria's Secret.
I have this like weird quirk where my very first page has to look as close to the original as possible. The folder with the 'shrug lady' is just filled with other apps that the iPhone came with which I don't use. iBooks is in it because I don't really read on my iPhone since it's too small. I of course have YouTube on the very first page. Another quirk of mine is that for some reason I can only watch YouTube videos on my phone, like I can't stand watching them on my iPad mini.
This is obviously the page that gets all my time. I have my social media all the way on the top based on my priorities so obviously Tumblr is the first one. In the ETC folder I have google drive which I used to transfer stuff between my gadgets instead of airdrop. I also have guitar tuner from when I last picked up my guitar half a year ago. I also have another folder which just contains app I use to edit photos.
I don't really put music on my iPhone aside from the free ones on iTunes and instead just put all my music on my iPod, however, sometimes I only carry phone so I have that music app and I have like a handful of songs in it, the songs I'm am currently obsessing. If I'm not using Facebook to talk to my family and friends in the Philippines then I use Viber.
I recently discovered the apps Plant Nanny and Walkr, and they're the bomb as hell. They're from the same company and basically they're fun ways to motivate you to take care of yourself. Plant Nanny is a cute motivator to drink water. It asks for your weight then tells you how much water you need to take everyday and everyday single day you drink enough water your plant levels up. Walkr is an app which motivates you to walk and run. Your steps becomes energy which will level you up. It's also a game by itself. I love using this when I'm just at home for the day so instead of just lying around watching Netflix, I'm walking around the house with my iPad and phone in my pocket.
The last page is just games and these are the games you don't really need data to play. For the most part I only play when there's no internet or I'm on the go.
Lastly, in case any of you are interest with my lock and home screen I put it in here.
My last finals in high school are over which means it's time for senior activities! Not counting the senior awards night and honors assembly, the beginning of the end is Senior Beach Day! I used to not like the beach which is funny because I do live in Southern California and the nearest beach to me is only 15 minutes away. Anyway, here are some outfit ideas.
Just a week after the remake of Pangako Sa'yo premiered, ABS-CBN aired another brand new TV show, Pasión de Amor. If you don't know this by now, watching foreign shows is a guilty pleasure of mine. This show is loosely based on the 2003 Colombian telenovela Pasión de Gavilanes. If I'm being honest I just checked it out because I saw Ejay and Joseph on the Thumbnail of my TFC.
If I'm being honest I was actually in odds when I found out about Kathniel doing the remake. Don't get me wrong, I love Kathryn and Daniel but it's just that their whole demure act might take some of the 'chemistry' away from the show. I can't wait to be proven wrong, and even if I'm not I'd still probably watch it since it's my childhood which is why I vaguely remember the details of the plot. Also, this is going to be filled with spoiler like my Forevermore First Impression one.
Out of all the things I thought would happen on my prom one thing came true, I wore a red dress.
Before I go into detail of the happenings on my actual prom day, here are a couple of pictures from my mini pre prom photoshoot...
The Sunday before prom I managed to drag my dad to some park we discovered months ago for a mini pre prom pictorial since I know I wouldn't have time to get a proper picture of just myself in my dress during the day of the actual prom. I was hoping the yellow tall flowers would still be all over the park, but the heat of California killed all of it. Fortunately, my dress was the perfect contrast to the dry, dead flowers around.
By the time I got to Vani's house almost everybody was already there. From Vani's house, the party bus picked us up and drove us to the venue, Arbat Banquet Hall at Burbank. The bus had a pole so of course I had to use it. I just had to and I mean my dress is two piece so there goes the second piece if you know what I mean. When we got to the venue I stepped on my dress on the stairs of the bus. It was definitely an entrance I won't forget. The place was beautiful, but it isn't really appropriate for prom in my opinion. The dance floor is literally as if they were expecting for only 50 people to dance. Also, I am proud to say that I dragged Connor to the dance floor and my friends to get everybody to start dancing. I am really proud of that.
After prom, the party bus took us back to Vani's house. We then drove to the nearest In n Out and had our midnight snacks. Some of us decided to go to the park by my brother's elementary school afterwards. I am pretty sure it wasn't 100% legal to do that but what you gonna do? I got home around 1:40 and I totally pigged out.

This post was supposed to go up last week like it was already all written and edited with pictures but life got in the way which is freaking awesome. What happened is that one day I had to baby sit my sister for basically the whole day while my parents took my brother to see a doctor. Around 6 PM that day I called my mom to tell her that Lyss and I just woke up and she started bubbling about how we have to buy a headboard from another store. I was so confused and when I asked her to clarify what the heck she was talking about she just hang up. Two hours later they got home and I found out that they bought me a new bed. You probably didn't know this but my biggest dilemma about my room is that it's a freaking heptagon! And it's not even an even heptagon. Anyway, the bed forced me to move my stuff around again ((the last time I did was the first week of January)) and I'm happy it did because it opened up my room. It was already big but now it just looks way bigger.
I figured I should show you guys the chaos that it was before I moved my things which was on Valentine's Day or as I like to call it "the day before I get to buy myself cheap chocolates". It is way messy and I didn't bother cleaning it up for these pictures because I was moving everything anyway.
Basically I divided my room into sections. My bed, my work station, and entertainment area. Looking at the mess just makes my head spin, I'm so sorry.
I finished moving everything around the same day, 14th of February, but then my mom told me that I will get to keep my old bed, so I turned that into a couch and rearranged my room all over again last February 16. So why didn't I post this then? Well you goof, my bed didn't arrive until last Friday. So far I like this set up, however I still have a lot of things to buy like curtains that actually reach all the way down the floor, new bed sheets for my new Bae, bed skirt, pillows that I don't need, and maybe another one of those shelves from Target. I'm gonna stop talking now and show you guys my safe haven.
This was the sight that welcomed me when I got home from school that Friday, February 20. My dad then it up, from the metal thing to the box to everything, exactly where I want it.
This is right after my dad set everything up and after I put on new sheets. It's crazy how fast the skylight changes these days.
Now let's go to the ones I took while Radha was over. I've been planning to take pictures for this post but for some reason didn't get around to it until today. I would say it's because I'm busy with school work but we all know I don't really do those like I'm supposed to.
This is what will welcome you if you ever drop by my room, which you should not do without knocking. Okay.. I lied, Radha won't be there. P.S. Inside the black hamper are my bags and I'm still figuring out where to put those.
My old bed that is now my couch. Yes, I love stuff animals. These are only out because I have nowhere else to put them. My guitar is in reach if I'm chilling by the couch. I know the TV is really close but I still need to but a new DVD/TV connector so I'll worry about it then.
This is my 'work' area but I don't even do work so. Yes, it is a breakfast table which is both a good thing and a bad thing. I love how it's really spacious but hate the stools. I also have a bookshelf under the table with art supplies and lots of books. It's under the table because I love putting pillows on the floor and then making a fort. It's like my secret hideout. My nail polishes are normally under my bathroom sink but I did Radha's nails today.
My shoes!!! I didn't get into shoes until this school year and look how far I've come. I did pay for most of my shoes and will probably for any future ones. If you want to see any of them or for me to review any, just leave a comment. Also, I'm thinking of doing a closet post so we'll see if I get around that.
Why have a bedside table when you can have a bedside shelf, right? In the pink box are DVDs and in the green one are junk foods. I recently just moved my jewelries out of my closet but I might put it back.
The rest of my room is basically filled with organizers of house stuff like sheets and curtains.
I know that wasn't really a proper tour but once I finalize my room in the next few months I'll post an updated one. I'm hoping to start a vlog by then like I wrote on my 2015 goals list.
If you have any room decor or organization suggestion please leave a comment. It can be anything, I love decorating but having a heptagon room is very draining.

I think the most efficient way to do this is to start off by listing all the products I use both everyday and miscellaneous ones. Also, last winter break I changed my shower time from morning before to school to night before bed in order to save time in the morning since I now have a 0 period class aka 7 freaking AM, so I'm going to talk about what I do after my shower.
Rose Salve
Olay Moisturizer
Petroleum Jelly
Aveeno Eczema Therapy
Cetaphil
Sweet Seduction Foot Lotion
Victoria's Secret Hand and Body Creme
Make Up Academy Sugar Lip Scrub
Sally Hansen Hair Removal Wax Strip Kit
..Everynight..
I don't remember who exactly but somebody from Tumblr answered an ask and she talked about how rose salve helps her get rid of blemishes. I also read somewhere that putting on the rose salve first before the moisturizer is more effective, but I forgot why exactly.
I wear lipstick almost every single day and it just gets so dry. Chapstick is just not cutting it, I mean I do use chapstick when I don't wear lipstick, but at night I lean towards this petroleum jelly. I don't mind that it;s stickier compared to chapstick because I'm going to bed anyway.
Last spring I got this like weird rash thing that I don't even know how to explain, but now it's all like dried up and became dark spots. I am slowly seeing some improvement since I started putting on this product on it. I used to put the Olay micro sculpting ointment, but I ran out and this is way cheaper.
What do you mean I'm obsessed with lotion? What!? No! But seriously, you can just never have too much right? I use the Cetaphil on my legs and arms just because I do use all these lotions at night and if I use a scented one it'd just be ridiculous. My friend gave me this foot lotion a couple of years ago and I love it because it's kind of minty and vanilla at the same time and I am all for vanilla. The Victoria's Secret one I use just for my hands. Yea, I cannot just use unscented lotion on my hands. It's also in my favorite VS scent, 'Pure Seduction'.
..Miscellaneous..
If I have to choose which part of my face is my favorite I would go with my lips. Back in elementary school, my classmates would make fun of me because of it, but now people like it because it's thick. I do wear lipstick almost every single day and I mostly go for matte lipsticks and aside from that I always forget to drink 8 glasses of water everyday so my lips tend to crack and peel and it's just awful. I used to just put petroleum jelly on at night, but once or twice a week I'd use this lip scrub that my best friend, Carol, gave me for my birthday.
The instructions says to do this every 8 weeks but let's be honest do I ever listen? No! I wax my femstache every 2-4 weeks depending if I'm feeling lazy or not. The ones I buy comes with 3 different sizes but I only wax my femstache so I just cut up the bigger strips. And yes, the instructions tells you not to do that.

I think the only thing that would be more casual than this is PJs or sweats. This week felt like the longest week even though I only had four school days, probably because I now have 0 period.
This high tops along with my leather jacket made it look like I tried with my outfit without having to actually try and I am definitely all for that!
It's been a while and it's nice to be back. I wanna end this with some updates with my life. I am currently in my second semester of my senior year in highschool and let me tell you that senioritis is real! My grades actually took a blow last semester. Anyway... blog wise I hope you noticed that I have changed my name from subjectofadmiration to pensandlipsticks. I also changed the template back to a more elegant and minimalist look. I have tons of posts and possibly new series coming up so check back for those. Xx
