KDramas to Watch

I have always love Korean Dramas ever since they started dubbing them in Philippines and this summer has been all about them for me. Here are some of the titles I am watching that are currently on air:

Genre: Romance, Drama

Broadcast Period: June 27, 2015 - Present

Airing On: Saturday, Sunday

This drama is about a man and a woman who have been best friends for about 17 years. It is pretty cliche but it is definitely worth the watch. The woman, Oh Ha Na, works for a shoe company and I am literally in love with all the shoes they show in this drama (except the one with frills, you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it). The man, Choi Won, works at an airline and one of his colleague, Lee So Eun, is in love with him. 

Genre: Romance, Thriller, Suspense

Broadcast Period: June 22, 2015 - Present

Airing On: Monday, Tuesday

Lee Hyun and Cha Ji An both lost their father because of a serial killer who's known for not leaving any body behind. Lee Hyun's return to Korea is the first step to finding the serial killer and his lost brother. The question is, is it too late to save his brother?

Genre: Romance, SciFi, Fantasy, Comedy

Broadcast Period: May 15, 2015 - Present

Airing On: Friday

This drama is about vampires coexisting with human. It's divided into seasons and if you're not a fan of historical dramas like I am, you got to power through the second season, but trust me it is definitely worth it. It'll show you how Jae Min and Baek Ma Ri are connected way beyond what is seen.

Genre: Romance, Drama

Broadcast Period: July 6, 2015 - Present

Airing On: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

This drama is a bit fast paced like they're already together after a handful of episodes kind of fast paced. Yeo Gook Dae and Park Song Ah is the classic hate turned into love in the beginning but it turns out it's always been love. However, what will happen now that the ex wife returned?

Genre: Comedy, Drama

Broadcast Period: July 3, 2015 - Present

Airing On: Friday, Saturday

Na Bong Sun is a very timid person who always has her head down. She has the ability to see ghosts and she works for Kang Sun Woo who has a strength vitality meaning he can't be possessed by ghosts which is the opposite of Bong Sun. Shin Soon Ae is a ghost who died a virgin. Her three years is almost up, meaning she has to 'get rid of her thirst' by then otherwise she'd turn into an evil ghost. While running away from a shaman she got stuck inside Bong Sun's body. 

The main actress' ability to switch between being timid and 'all out' is so fascinating to me like I give her 10 stars out of five.

Broadcast Period: May 31, 2015 - Present

Airing On: Monday

I know this is Taiwanese but it's definitely worth the mention and the watch. Xia You Qian reinvented himself over the years and his work has led him back to his hometown and to his first love. Will he finally win her over this time?

Genre: Comedy, Drama

Broadcast Period: May 15, 2015 - June 20, 2015

This is another special mention but it's also definitely worth the watch and plus you can binge watch it so really it's a win win. You probably don't know this but I am a big Kim Soo Hyun fan like I can stare at him all day.. I mean talk about him all day. His character in this drama is like Sam Dong (his character in Dream High) 2.0. Also, his Dream High costar, IU, is also in this as a bratty idol. I literally just watched this because of them but the plot actually turned out pretty great. 

If you're still not sold, here's a screen shot from episode 4 where his coworkers told him he's handsome so then he went to the bathroom and literally checked himself out.
