Roadtrip!

This post was meant to live the night that we drove up here to NorCal but due to our hotel's sucky internet, it obviously did not happen. On the bright side, I am now 100% sure that I used almost everything in my bag and I was not carrying stuff around just to carry them.

In this post I will talk about what I bring in my bag which is always by me during roadtrips, however let's talk about the outfit first. Always dress comfy during roadtrips, so comfy that you can sleep as soon as you sit. I went with my running shoe and a super light shirt. I also went with a snapback because I did sleep in the car and I could never be bothered to brush my hair. 

My bag was sent to me by my aunt from Japan ages ago like my early elementary school days. On the left front pocket I have a travel sized lotion and perfume from VS in the scent 'heavenly'. I also carry around a notepad and a 10 colored pen. On the right front pocket I have a handkerchief, my lipstick case with two lipsticks inside always, mints, and tissues. There's a pocket on the back where the straps are and in there I keep my phone, iPod, and heaphones.

The main compartment is just sealed by a drawstring which would normally be a problem but the magnet on the flap is very sturdy and never once came accidentally undone. Also, in this overview you can see that I am a bag-within-a-bag kinda person. 

I got this clutch from CC and it's very useful since I'm carrying around a backpack. Whenever I just need to go buy something or just grabbing some food. I just have my cards and ID in that gold 'wallet' thing, some coins, keys, and a handkerchief. Yes, I carry multiple handkerchief on a daily basis. 

I have this pouch from Target and it contains my 'beauty' needs which are in the picture above.

Other people carry chapsticks, I carry chopsticks. I also have my chargers for my apple products in an organization thingy from Target's dollarspot. My iPad mini case is from Kate Spade.

Although I am from California, it does get cold at night. Up here in NorCal it's pretty breezy during late afternoons hence why I have my college sweatshirt and a scarf in my bag. I also carry around my battery pack which was very helpful when we went camping.
