85° Cafe
10:06 AM
I was out in the wild for a couple of days and once we got back in the civilization I found a new cafe to check out. Okay, that was very dramatic of me but seriously, I checked out a new cafe because the looks fit my aesthetic. Now, it's time to judge the taste.
Aside from the mango slush I got two different slices of cakes and three different breads.
I got the Taro cake. It tasted a bit too powdery which is my biggest problem with it. On the other hand, it's only like 5% sweet which I like. I give this one 3/5 stars.
The second cake I got was the black forest one. I liked how the cherry filling isn't as strong as the ones I had before. I give this one 4/5 stars.
Honestly, I wasn't going to get a slush because I just had some literally before we stopped by the cafe but they were having a 'buy one get one 50%' deal so I just had to. They said they make it with real mangoes and I honestly thought they were lying but it's true. You can easily tell it was made from real mangoes because of the after taste. I would give this 4.99/5 stars just because I wish they have tapioca or nata de coco.
I unfortunately did not get any photos of the three bread that I bought but they are the cinnamon twist, mocha bread, and milk pudding. The cinnamon twist is somewhat of a combo of a churro and a pretzel where it's crunchy and soft of certain parts. The mocha bread I did not like that much. Now, the milk pudding is to die for! It's like the bavarian donut from Dunkin's but better!!!
I will definitely go back to this place and buy a box of those milk pudding while sipping on their mango slush!
