Style Catalog: Beach ((+ What's In My Beach Bag?))

My last finals in high school are over which means it's time for senior activities! Not counting the senior awards night and honors assembly, the beginning of the end is Senior Beach Day! I used to not like the beach which is funny because I do live in Southern California and the nearest beach to me is only 15 minutes away. Anyway, here are some outfit ideas.


 Before we start, you should know that I only have like 4 swim bottoms so this basically revolves around swim tops.

I love love love oversize shirts like they are so playful and sexy at the same time. I feel like I can do anything when I'm wearing an oversize shirt. It's also the perfect excuse to use the snapback I bought but never used.

This has got to be my favorite outfit! It's so colorful and bright and it just give you good vibes which is what I am all about in life. I also just bought this body chain and I now understand the hype about them.

These are the things I always bring to the beach with me. First, let's talk about the bag I use which is not in this picture but is in the cover picture. It's a Vera Bradley bag which is perfect because you can wash it. I always bring a jacket or a sweater with me if I'm not wearing one already. The one in the picture is the biggest sweatshirt I own. I of course need some sort of thing to sit down on which is either the mat in the pic or just a scarf. Obviously a towel and sunscreen. If I'm not wearing them already, then my sunglasses goes in my bag. You can never leave the house without your wallet. I bring my iPad with me which I know is kind of reckless because of the sand but it has my games and especially my books. I find it better to bring this instead of a hard copy of a book because I never know what I'm in the mood to read until I actually get to the beach. Me being me, I of course need to bring my camera.

There are things that didn't make it in the picture that I also bring which are: snacks, comb, keys, and water.
