♡ Photo Apps ♡

7:34 PM

For my 16th birthday my parents got me an iPad mini and ever since then I've been using that to take pictures. Before then I used to use an actual digital camera, save them on my computer, email it to myself, and then save it on my iPod. It was a very time consuming thing I used to do. Anyways, I like taking pictures and I love photo apps. All the apps that I use and have are free. ALL OF THEM!

These are all the photo apps that I currently have installed on my iPad. They're not arrange in any kind of order, just saying. For the sake of order ness, I shall review them left to right in each horizontal row.

Heart Booth

This photo app lets you do those fancy heart shape hand thing. I am not good at describing things, but do not fear... I have photo example of a finished product.

This is what I meants by the "heart shape hand thing". With the help of this app, you can do them with ease.

If you're not really into hearts or you don't want to use 3x3, it's a no biggie. Heart booth also lets you choose which size you prefer. The sizes are 1x1 up to 8x8.

These are some of the following shapes they offer:

Yes, they do have the whole alphabet (:

Pic Stitch && Collage

I decided to combine these 2 because they came from the same company. Also, there's not much of a difference and they're pretty basic.

If you're a more symmetrical person or you just prefer your pictures in a neat presentation, then I suggest use pic stitch. The downside is that it only allows you to maximum 6 photos in one stitch. If you want more than that, you're going to have to pay.

Personally, I prefer collage better most of the times. Not only do they let you change the background color, but you can also place your pictures in any way you want, whatever size or angle you choose.

Split Pic

I am inlove with this app!! I used to be so obsessed with this. The only down side that I see is that there's only 4 layouts available for free.

Here are some finished pictures ((I told you I love it)) :

Timer Camera

I'm not going to elaborate because this is the simplest thing ever that you should already know. It goes up to 15 seconds (: Also, I'm very lucky that my iPad cover is a folio thing because I use this so much!!! More than any other photo app that I have tbh.

Aviary

This app is amazing. I use this mostly to change my pictures to black and white because that's my current photo style. It comes with several features which are:

There stickers collection sucks, I'm just saying.

Here's a couple example of their effects:

Mediface: Eye color

If you want to change your pictures a little bit, why not go ahead and change your eye color! There are some downside to this app, and it's that you have to make sure the photo has your whole face and both your eyes not hidden behind anything. I used to have shorter bangs so that was an issue, but you can always clip them back or soemthing. It comes with a good amount of free colors and styles:

I personally just use golden and specs. Also, starting from cat eye to alien lenses, you have to pay for those.

I'm rocking red eyes, aren't I? Ahaha (:

Pix

I mainly use this app for 5-6 of their effects. Anyways, Pix comes with a lot of effects and textures. They also come with quite several frames.

You can use, at most, 3 effect combination of whatever ones you like. I personally like 6 of their effects and I just mix those. My favorites are: lively, ice blue, nightfall, morning, memory, and warm.

Instablend

This app lets you blend two pictures. Here's an example my friend made:

Square ready

If you're into instagram or just plain old pictures in square format, well here's the app for you! They basically jsut let you put your whole photo in a square layout.

Labelbox

If you like adding words or captions on your photos, why not use these beautiful things:

PicsArt

This lovely app comes with tons of fun effects and a lot of backgrounds, borders, etc. they also let you add words to your photos with a lot of font to choose from.

First lets go to the effect option (:

When I said tons of effects, I mean TONS OF EFFECTS!

Here are some FX:
Some Artistic:
All Pop Art:
All Paper:
All Distort:
All Color Splash:
All Corrections:

Now lets go to the collage button.
When you press the collage button, a tab thing will appear with grid, frame, and bg option (:

Grid:
Background:

The draw option basically lets you draw on your pictures. Duh me. Here are the fonts they offer for text:

I personally rarely use this app, but most of my friends use this like crazy!

Shapely && shape+

I decided to combine these two because they do the same thing. I think I only used these apps like once or twice because Im not really into them. They do give you a lot of options though (:

Shapely~

Shape+ ~

Vintage Deco

This is my current obsession!! They're just a bunch of stickers that are very beautiful!! After you save the finished photo, they are a bit blurry so the trick that I use is screenshotting them instead of saving them. I noticed that this way it's less blurry (:

Here is an example picture I have created using this perfect app!!

Pixlr Express+

Their things are divided into categories like so:

My favorite sticker category has to be Antiquarian because vintage feel ahaha.

I just installed this app a week ago so I haven't really use it as much as the others, but hey it's pretty awesome so far!

Be sure to check out my instagram, tumblr, and twitter to see what's going on (:

Let me know at the comments what you think. If you're using any of these apps or know some other apps that works great please let me know at the comments. Thank you! Have a nice day.
